We have been trying to examine the rocks we have on our nature shelf.
I don't know a lot about the different types so it can be a little frustrating teaching how to classify rocks.
We only examined the rocks and noted color, texture and shape.
Rocks are really beautiful examined up close with a magnifying glass...some of the rocks were multi-colored, multi-layered, sparkly and even covered with moss.
